Simply the best! My husband and I hired chef Joseph for a family dinner party over the holidays at a house we were renting in Litchfield County. Not only was the food locally sourced and delicious but he was able to accommodate and create a special separate menu for the children in our family. It was important for us to include the children in our dining experience and Joseph worked with them to make fresh pasta from scratch--- an experience they will never forget. Not only is Joseph extremely talented but a genuinely nice guy who is professional and creates experiences and memories or family won't forget. After years of working in some of the country's finest dining establishments and most recently as Chef De Cuisine of Picholine in New York City, I decided to pack up and move to Roxbury, Connecticut with my family for a quieter country life.

Since relocating to Roxbury, I have worked as a private chef in many private homes and estates throughout Litchfield County and beyond.

We loved having Joseph prepare our New Year's Eve dinner! He even brought over a ton of fun trinkets and balloons for the occasion! The food was delicious and the menu was very well thought out. We had a cocktail hour with snackies that were divine: potatoes and caviar were a big hit and the goat cheese and beets on a stick were easy to handle and tasted amazing. The dinner was a filet that was beautiful and we finished the meal with a chocolate fondue that we dipped EVERYTHING in! We highly recommend Joseph! He even consulted with us before the process which we really appreciated. Super professional and super talented! Looking forward to more fun times!

"Having attended two parties that Joseph catered, I can do nothing but highly recommend the Litchfield Chef. Joseph combines the skill of a great chef with a warmth and attention to the interests of his clients, resulting in a final product that is both delicious and beautiful to the eye. His focus on local and seasonal products makes his food very much a product of the Litchfield Hills and the Hudson Valley. Even though his food and the presentation can compete with the best restaurants in the region, the guests invariably are drawn to the kitchen to watch him prepare the food and to enjoy his company and his love for what he does. But, as they say," don't try this at home" because he makes some very complicated recipes seem easy. I am very glad we were introduced to him."
